About Sandy GregoryOwner and Tour Director
Since 2008, Sandy has lead hundreds of small-group tours throughout the world, specializing in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany, Austria, Greece, Croatia, Australia, New Zealand, The Caribbean and Peru. Sandy has been blessed with the opportunity to experience much in her life. She was a foreign exchange student in Oaxaca, Mexico with the American Field Service Program (AFS) and also studied during college in Florence, Italy. She earned her BFA in graphic design and copy writing at the University of Illinois, working in advertising and graphic design in Chicago and owned her own graphic design firm, Serio Design, for 12 years before becoming a Certified International Tour Manager (CITM). After seven years as a Senior Tour Captain with QueensLander Tours, she focused her energy and passion creating Che Bella Tours, putting her own personal touch on trips of a lifetime for travel enthusiasts. |
"My life on tour is a whirlwind of attending to guests, maneuvering motor coaches, confirming hotels and guides, in-depth commentary, stand up comedy and a lot of “I’ll be happy to take care of that for you.” Typical days have included 32,000 steps, great wine, bad airports, unexpected treats and keeping all the balls in the air ... all without missing a beat. And I love it. The more we grow, the more we change and evolve. I started Che Bella Tours because I realized there is a demand for more tour experiences where you travel with like-minded people and explore personal passions. Explore our website and see what we have to offer. If these are your passions too, I'd love to have you join us."
At My PaceAt My Pace is a collection of thirty-six essays that expands the conversation about the many roads women choose. Some women drive the autobahn, full speed ahead; others prefer a journey full of twists and turns, yield signs and rest stops; still others find a u-turn along the way and switch directions entirely.
At My Pace is a book about ordinary women who share their extraordinary stories, celebrating our individual choices with refreshing candor and wisdom. My story is on p. 81 and tells the tale of why and how I became a Tour Director. |
