Morocco covers the north-west corner of Africa, only eight miles south of Europe across the Strait of Gibraltar. Its colonial past and present economic ties ensure that Morocco will always have a close relationship with its neighbors to the north. Marrakech is steeped in history and culture and is exotic and exciting. Situated to the north of the foothills of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and fringing the famed Sahara, the bustling UNESCO-listed city is an enchanting travel destination.

Fes is busy, layered, and deeply rooted in tradition. Its medina is a network of narrow streets where donkeys pass through narrow streets and centuries-old crafts continue unchanged. It can feel intense at first, but that’s part of what makes it memorable — a place where history and everyday life are closely intertwined.

Marrakech, the jewel of Morocco, is called The Red City because of its buildings and ramparts made from the simplest of materials of architecture, red earth. It’s easy to lose all sense of time in Marrakech, with its confluence of Arabian, African, and European influences, bustling squares, a maze of alleyways, towering minarets, gardens, monuments, and forts.

Essaouira. If in Marrakech, the people find inspiration in the red hues of the desert and mountains, then in Essaouira, it is the sky and ocean. Essaouria means “little picture” in Arabic, and as the name suggests, it is a photogenic haven. Blue covers the hulls of the clustered, moored boats and adorns the shutters of every window of this Moroccan seaside port. All this blue and white, against the sea and sky, gentle charm and laid-back beach vibes is a breath of fresh air.

NOTE: How a country is governed and how society functions determines the safety of a country. Morocco is safe not despite being Muslim—but because it’s a stable, tourism-driven country with a long history of hosting visitors.

This morning we'll meander with our guide on our private tour of the winding paths of Chefchaouen's medina and its surrounds. We'll ease into the rhythm of the town. Start with a slow walk through the medina as we make our way to Plaza Uta el-Hammam (the main square) for coffee or mint tea. It’s a good place to sit, people-watch, and get our bearings. Our tour will include a visit to the Kasbah Museum—a small, relaxed stop with a garden and a tower you can climb for a view over the town. This slow-paced tour will give up plenty of time to explore side streets, take photos, and pop into small shops for woven blankets, ceramics, or local textiles.

The rest of the day is your to enjoy.

Think about booking a spa treatment at the hotel.

Take a short hike into the nearby Rif Mountains for a different perspective of the area.

Fez is not merely a destination but a sensory journey through time, a living testament to Morocco's enduring allure.
As an imperial city founded in the 8th century in the northern part of Morocco, between the Rif and the Middle Atlas, Fez consists of two old medina quarters, Fes el-Bali and Fes Jdid, and a much larger modern urban area. The medina, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site, is one of the largest and oldest urban pedestrian zones in the World and contains the oldest continuously functioning institute of higher education in the world, the University of al-Qarawiyyin which was founded in 857.

Included dinner.

Overnight in Fes 2 nights with breakfast.
Our hotel is an extraordinary luxury hotel in Fes, Morocco, decorated in the somptuous, authentic style of a 19-th-century Moroccan palace. With its elegant, timeless design and warm, attentive hospitality, it is an oasis of refinement in the heart of Fes.

Today we enjoy a private tour of Fes’ old city — known locally as Fes el Bali — on a guided tour of one of the most extensive and well-preserved historic towns of the Arab-Muslim world. Our tour will include a visit to a ceramics factory where you can see potters and their students working in the traditional way (here you can try to make your own small Tagine).

And as you walk along the narrow streets and alleyways that make up this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll pass the historic khans, mosques, craftsmen and donkeys laden with goods that make this journey back to the Middle Ages one truly unforgettable experience.

Picture

Transfer from Rabat to Marrakech, arrive at lunchtime, check into our hotel and have lunch there.

Marrakech. 3 nights with breakfast

A Moroccan riad is a traditional house or palace built around a central courtyard, commonly found in the historic medinas of cities like Marrakesh and Fez. The word “riad” comes from the Arabic term for “garden,” and these homes typically feature an open-air courtyard with plants, fountains, or mosaics that create a शांत, private oasis away from the busy streets outside. Designed with inward-facing rooms, riads emphasize privacy, natural light, and cooling airflow, making them both practical and beautifully serene living spaces; today, many have been restored into boutique guesthouses that offer an intimate, culturally rich travel experience.

After lunch at the hotel, we will visit Majorelle Garden, an enchanting oasis in the heart of the city made famous by Yves Saint Laurent. A labyrinth of intersecting alleys, tangled levels and Art Deco-style Moorish buildings with bold colors, the garden is a gigantic and opulent pile of exotic plants and trees from the most distant countries, designed both as a sanctuary and as a laboratory by the French painter Jacques Majorelle from 1922. In 1980, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, bought the Garden to save it from a hotel complex project that envisaged its destruction.

“For many years, I have found in the Majorelle garden an inexhaustible source of inspiration and I have often dreamed of its unique colors”. - Yves Saint Laurent

We will also be offering carriage rides throughout the afternoon to get you oriented with the city.

Tonight: Included Dinner

DAY 5: APRIL 10.     A DAY IN MARRAKECH

Picture
Picture

Fruit and spice sellers, basket sellers, ironmongers, musicians, story tellers, snake charmers and entertainers are a visual delight. We’ll enjoy lunch (not included) with a bird’s eye view to all of this wonderful chaos.

After lunch, we can explore the souks and even make a visit to the herbologist for natural, organic, and ethically sourced spices, teas, skincare and beauty products, inspired by the rich traditions of Moroccan beauty rituals, which have been passed down for generations.

The evening is yours to explore at your leisure.
